HEY...

  1. Of course they (the fans), will fall into the same "traps". In my humble opinion (and at the end of the day) none of these fans give a damn about these players (outside of the game) - so why should they give a flip about the city that contains them? All 'most' fans want is for their city to win a championship, and when it doesn’t happen they cry about it, and become the team/players biggest critics/haters...so again, I ask, why should these players think about their fans (outside of the game?)

All fans that complain about Lebron (or any player for any other team) and get emotionally distraught over it, have some serious deep seated issues.

Last week, as I sat and watched sports center interview Cleveland residents prior to the recent game I was appalled/embarrassed by their continued immature/ugly behavior. Bad mouthing him, saying he’s disloyal. Really? I think they're the disloyal ones. He’s a player of the NBA (not) the city of Cleveland. Yes, I understand that they were perhaps shocked and maybe even a little hurt but all the backlash that followed...who wants to stay around those type of fans?

As for the supposed (disrespectful) way he did it - am I the only one that appreciates his efforts? What he did raised a lot of money for 'kids' that are in need and the fan community is still mad?...at that? That's ridiculous. Continuing to ignore the good that came from the manner in which he announced his departure (despite all the good that came from it for those less fortunate) is just a bloody excuse to continue to curse him and be disrespectful. If it weren't for 'him'(and hear me when I say, I am not even a Lebron or Cleveland Cavaliers 'fan' by any means), Cleveland(the city nor the team nor their stinky little disrespectful fans) would not even be relevant. The End.

Great Blog & Excellent Points! (but um me booing Dallas or my Dukies? NEVER lol)

  2. Def agree with most of your post. The opportunity for growth that could have taken place with "us" the fans, seems to have been a lost one. Thanks for sharing. There's def no reason to boo them 'Boys!
